Neoflex Version 2:
Double Sided: Graphic on Exterior, Solid on Interior
Thickness: 2.0mm
Odor: May have a light manufacturing scent that airs out easily
Machine Use: Not domestic-machine friendly
Needle: Microtex needle recommended
Creasing: May show compression creases; a quick heat-press can minimize them (test first — prolonged heat can slightly compress foam). Due to the nature of neoprene, compression creases are not considered flaws.
Seam Allowance: 3/8" for construction, 1/4" for topstitching
Stitch Lengths: 3.0–3.5 mm construction; 4.0–5.5 mm topstitch.
Sold in half yard rolls: 18"x52"

Neoflex Version 2 is Sewful Therapy’s custom waterproof neoprene base tested for bag makers. With a smooth outer surface and a flexible 2.0mm thick, it’s ideal for insulated and structured projects that need both form and function.

Material Features

2.0mm thick, flexible neoprene core
Naturally waterproof and insulative
Smooth, soft-touch exterior with a clean matte finish
Holds shape beautifully without added foam or interfacing

Sewing Recommendations

Machine Compatibility: Best with walking-foot or industrial straight-stitch machines. Not ideal for standard domestic machines due to thickness and resistance.
Needle: Microtex 90/14 recommended for clean penetration.
Seam Allowance: Construct at 3/8"; topstitch at 1/4".
Stitch Length: 3–4mm for construction; 4–5mm for topstitching.
Thread: Bonded polyester or heavy-duty thread preferred.
